The company ALFUN SK was founded in 1999 and dealt originally in aluminium and its alloys. You can find the company’s headquarters in Bruntál, in the north east of the Czech Republic. There are further sites of the company in Hungary and in Poland, and the Slovak daughter company is located in Sered’, in the south west of the Slovak Republic.

ABUS EOT cranes with electric chain hoists in Mexico

The project consists of two closed bays. The first bay houses components for voltage transformation substations with capacities of 400 kV with SF6 circuit-breakers. The second bay is home to substations with a power of 230 kV. Assemblage of the substations is taking place in both bays and the transformers are transported from there to their respective final destinations.

ABUS EOT cranes link lorry to boat

These double girder EOT cranes serve to transport loads of up to 150 tonnes within the logistics building; they also load and unload lorries. At first the cranes used to work predominantly inside the multipurpose logistics warehouse. However, now that the crane track has been extended to the nearby Rhine-Lippe port it is also possible to directly load and unload barges and coasters.

The company Benders Sverige AB produces precast concrete elements where Volvo was building cars not so long ago. The company has been expending ever since it was founded in 1959. In 2013 the Volvo building was bought which ramped up the potential production area to 100,000 m².

Paper – ranging from valuable single sheets to mass products

It is not possible to determine with absolute certainty who first invented paper. The Chinese Tasi Lun first described the procedure for making paper in the year 105 AD. However, paper has been found in China that was dated to 200 BC making it considerably older than the records by Tsai Lun.
